The Bridge Hotel, Thrapston (Northamptonshire)

The hotel is ideally situated near the river, offering proximity to key events and a lovely view of a Heron on the river. The rooms are modern, with comfortable bedding, and I even got an upgrade to a luxurious 4-poster bed suite with a relaxing bath. The service was impeccable, making me feel truly at home. However, the dining experience offered at specific times could be expanded beyond the tasty grilled seafood option. Overall, a great value for money stay with a few minor dining limitations.

I was thrilled with my stay at the hotel. The 4-poster room I was upgraded to was divine, with a super comfy bed, modern en-suite facilities, a cozy sofa bed, and a relaxing bath. The location was superb, near the river and conveniently close to the event I was attending. The dining experience, especially the poached eggs I had for breakfast, was delightful. However, the included dining was served quite early for my liking at 8:15 AM, but I couldn't complain about the quality. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The price felt like a steal given the great value for the money. I would definitely come back for another visit.
